i hate these things. ****ing impossible to fight. punished for being close, punished for keeping my distance, and punished for trying to run away. the length their axe can go is insane and it does so much damage.

Fun fact: If you look closely at the giant- man serpent that just wields the giant axe ( not the flail axe variant) The axe they wield is just a enlarged version of the battle axe.

The chain variant of these enemies are so bullshit, their weapons are able to be thrown through walls and it really f***ing annoys me.

Using a faith build and Dorhys Gnawing seems to do pretty good double the lightning dmg
            As in 210 light
            520 Gnaw

The chain-axe variant of these guys may very well be some of the most irritating enemies to deal with in the entire game... and to add insult to injury, you can't even get their weapon.

Serpent men in general... Going through Archdragon peak gives me DS2 flashbacks. Just me or is enemy placement here super reminiscent of DS2 enemy placement?

This is hands down one of the most irritating enemies in the game. Even plunging attacks dont do much to them.
