Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".

Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has: Regular(R), Thrust(T), Slash(Sl), Strike(St)

Using this on my Pyro build, and I can boost my AR over 1200 with this axe.

been using this for a while now, at +4 and 40 STR I have an AR of 598. Charged R2 does more, usually 700+ even to bosses
(Please ready previous comment.) As i was saying "sheild eating poise breaker" so get you crits ready. Really sheild turtling and heavy poised mobs break to it pretty easily. Well we heard the pros in my.last post... here are the CONS: This weapon only really hits vertical and if not aimed properly will completely miss (even when missing, if hit near an enemy they will stagger.) This weapon is a little slow when compared to normal swords so keep in mind missing could be life or death! It also consumes a good bit of stamina simce its a large weapo. This weapon is great for early pick up when you are still getting comfortable woth your stats, but once entering new NG+ i think there are better chaos infused weapons out there. Also it weighs 12.5lbs so it's abit on the heavy side. Well thats all i can say other than #stylepoints Hope this helps!
Okay so it seems some people see the scaling on this weapon and shy away from it. This is understandable. First off im a pyro and i use this weapon #stylepoints. Also this weapon is EXTREMELY strong. I picked it up early and two handed it do to the lack of not having the coal for chaos infusion. It was the only weapon i saw useful besides the brigade axe or a normal club. It's scaling at +5 (max) is B,E,D,D. It puts mobs to BEDD if you know what im saying. Having an INT and FAITH scaling weapon semi early in the game is nice because as a pyro you primarily scale those two stats. I personally wanted to avoid at all costs putting any extra points in dex starting out so i got 21 STR for two handing, and 15 INT and FAITH (because you only need 15/15 for chaos fireball and you dont get 20/20 dark fireball until later.) From there i leveled my INT/FAITH to 20 and invested the rest in STR to get to 28 STR so i could use the STR bonus. Oh and of course i leveled my attunement/Vigor/Endur up along the way (24 ATTUN to be exact. Some people saw go raw and use carthus flame starting out and i dont think thats a bad choice. But do you really want to burn an early attunement alot for Carthus Arc just to have your weapon lose its fire mid fight? Hell no i say! I want my weapon to do its job! This is whybi chose the axe. Attunement early is a pain to level so leaving carthus behind for another spell is worth it in my book. Im a pyromancer, i throw fireballs and my weapon needs be ready when the gap is closed Not oh you're walking up give me one second and let me buff this club. So back to the axe. PROS: Early scaling in all stats, scales while still making your spells stronger, puts out HUGE dmg once STR required is met, requires low DEX, the weapon Skill increases your poise while in use and does a rather large aoe on hit, you can also completely turn around and direct which waynthe weapon will hit while charging weapon skill, and this weapon is a sheild eating poise breaker.

I'm not sure how to react to seeing those scaling postings. :/

That it has the same fun r2's as the DGA in dark souls 1 had.Cheers!
Anyone know what the damage comparison is for Demonic Flare weapon art vs Falling Bolt from Dragonslayer Greataxe? I'm trying to decide between the two axes and they seem similar in cast time and explosive AoE range but I'm just not sure about the damage.
