I actually got a poison gem dropped from them ONCE.
Nothing other than my word to confirm this but it seems very low drop rate and there are much better ways to get your meme gem.

Of all of the enemies that they decided to bring back from Dark Souls 2, Why these things?
Didn't bring back some of the cool mobs like the headless Smelter Giants of Brume Tower that bleed lava, Alonne Knights or Turtle Knights, yet they bring back the goofy ahh mushroom bug, why?
