I came here because the little f**kers on the rooftop after crossing the first bridge at undead settlement are sniping me with blowpipe darts that seem to be passing right through my 100% physical damage shield for enough damage to stop me getting close. I see no bleed or poison build up meter but the wiki for them doesn't have any mention of this. Good job.

i see people having a lot of problem fighting these guys, so here is a tip: use your shield, block them, and when they're staggered by trying to attack you, just stunlock them to death, ez pz, blocking was never so useful in the game before i met those midgets

Whenever I try to attack them, they dodge. Whenever I wait till they are done with their dodge, they dodge. Whenever I wait till they're done with their fukong dodging dodge, they dodge. And then... I get ganked because I try to hit one midget like 4 times but it refuses to attack me. These little douches... Sometimes I think from implemented input reads on these guys. I'm not Salty or anything but in my opinion these are the worst enemies and by far the most annoying. I'd rather take a prepatched Dregheap angle or the Skellywheel hell from DS1 than these Buggers.

Lol @ the comments. There are annoying enemies in this game which understandably cause butthurt. The Elder Ghru, the two Sulyvahn's beasts by the Archdeacon... but if this enemy gives you much trouble, consider dropping the game and taking a nice long break from your troubles over at Super Weenie Hut Jr's.

You gotta love how From thinks it's perfectly balanced to have enemies that, in a game where poise is now only applied mid-swing, are faster than the player. I feel like in Ds1 if i want to explore and find items, i can avoid enemies. But in Ds3, enemies like this and the dogs force me to sit and fight or else i risk them catching up to me as im running past an enemy that can combo me to death, which is another issue altogether. I literally cannot complete this game because i always get discouraged after dying countless times to the ridiculous a.i. such as this...
