Farron Follower Notes & Trivia

  • They can't drop their weapons. However, in few spots in Painted World of Ariandel, player can find weapons they use.
  • Probably sent there because some members of Undead Legion in that region were corrupted by the Abyss.
  • Some of them sleep, so player can approach them and finish with 1 strong hit or poison without waking them up.

Why do these members of the Undead Legion (who refuse to use shields) use the most op shield of any enemy. Imagine how op the Watchers would be with that thing.

Normal ones are no Problem. But the ones throwing scuds at you are a pain... the even can throw balistic.

Really cool how their shields magically block every single attack as long as they're holding it up (always), even if said attack didn't remotely touch it. You could try to backstab them and the shield would still somehow block it with an invisible block aura.

So from using it just now, they CAN be rapported but it works weird. Testing by the 1st bonfire, they still aggro to you but the other enemies start to aggro to the one you used Rapport on. So it's like he gets swapped to your side, but he didn't get the memo; some oversight or bug in their enemy AI? Or maybe if they have non-Follower enemies nearby they would prioritize those over you? But it's incorrect Rapport behavior for them to remain hostile to you.

Inside of you there are 3 wolves

              -infinite stamina sword guy
              -infinite ammo spear guy
              -infinite FP torch guy

              They are all annoying *******s

I have never seen the end of that sabre Follower's combo and I'm convinced it just doesn't stop flailing around.

Feels to awesome sneaking around them and taking them down one at a time. I feel like a main character that is weaker than his enemies (sl 35) so takes them out stealthily.

Shield version be like : I'll just look at you like a dumb**** with my shield up until my buttbuddies come

                    • Anonymous

The shield ones are the most passive aggroable mob in the game. They sit there with their shield up for most of the fights.

they're resistant to dark too, tested it on my sorcerer using affinity with +4 court sorcerer at 35 INT, usually it has good AR but not with these guys

They are pretty weak, though good at pressuring when in a group vs 1. But seriously, those saber ones.... "stamina.exe has stopped working" much? xD

Pretty good for farming. Weak, easily staggered and stunlocked, 700 souls each with a chance of large shards, tons and tons of them just past the Snowy Mountain Pass bonfire.

The ones with the shield are difficult to guard break. It's taking me at least 2 kicks to get an opening for a critical.
