Omg! Good luck farming this. I had 477 item discovery and this thing took 3 days to farm of probably some 10+ hours. If you can coop this, I'd strongly suggest you do.

I could never figure out how you're actually *supposed* to deal with these guys. Their poise is garbage of course, but when they roll up I've never been able to avoid some chip damage.

When you waste a whole day farming for the Carthus Curved Greatsword and you only get shards out of the whole day wasted.

Some weapons like mace or lucerne knock them down making it easy to kill them.

So they don't drop that cape or hood that they're wearing? I really wanted that, it looks cool

They are extremely weak to Blessed weapons. Tested with Executioner's Sword and Blessed Weapon miracle, it works wonders. Damage dealt is 30-40% more that the original buffed AR value.

i got it from the two handed skeles that actually use the weapon, not the ones with shield if anyone is not getting the drop
Wikidot says that this is the Carthus Swordsman from the images shown, and the other variant is the Gravewarden. I read a comment that stated that the Swordsman has a 1.4% chance to drop a Vertebra Shackle compared to the .2% on the Gravewarden. So, I am confused on whether enemy to gather Vertebra Shackle's .from
