Rings are an important category of equipment in Dark Souls 3. Players may equip up to 4 rings at once and they each grant specific benefits. This page has a list of all of the rings available in the game, separated by default and DLC rings. Click on each ring to find specific written location information. The list is by order that they will display in your inventory in game. This is to facilitate their acquisition by making it easy to see which you are missing with your inventory screen open.

A returning feature from Dark Souls 2, rings are available in more powerful iterations that appear with the +1, +2 or +3 suffixes. These enhanced rings are only found in NG+ and beyond. Their locations and which Journey (New Game) they can be found in will be noted here and on the individual ring pages. To obtain the Trophy/Achievement for collecting every ring, you must collect all of the different +X variations available, making a total of 107 rings. Do NOT sell any of the rings you've obtained.

Rings of any variation can be obtained upon each playthrough.  If you miss a ring on your first playthrough, or even your second or third, you can still obtain on any following playthrough. Weather it's NG+2 or NG+20 all the rings stay where they originally are placed, they do not go away simply because you've continued playing. Meaning you can obtain the achievement on any playthrough. In addition to this information, you DO NOT need to have all the rings on you at once. Provided you have picked up the ring it counts. HOWEVER, you should always put your rings into your Item Box via the bonfire. This will allow you to keep track and KNOW for a fact what you have, I do not recommend sharing your rings amongst friends until you've gotten your achievement.

Ring of Sacrifice DOES count towards achievement.(Got the achievement after picking up the first roS in NG++, after getting every other ring.)

116 Total Rings - 9 DLC Rings (8 of which are +3 & other is Chillbite Ring) -  1 (+3) Ring - 16 (+2) Rings - 20 (+1) Rings - 70 (+0/Regular) Rings - 107 Rings for Achievement

The Trophy/Achievement may be glitched and despite having all 107 rings in your inventory it may not register.

The most common issue is a starter ring not registering. Drop (leave) and then pick back up the Life Ring, Young Dragon Ring, and/or Great Swamp Ring to trigger the achievement.

An additional way to get around the glitch is to move a large amount of rings into your storage box and then back. This way is much safer than dropping them on the ground.

If neither of these work. drop 15 rings, then pick them up again, then drop a different 15 and pick them up.* Do this until it registers. DO NOT drop any more than 15 to be safe. The game only allows about 30 rings to be on the ground at any time and will delete any number more than that. It's recommended that you make a backup of your save before doing this. If you chose the Life Ring as your gift at the beginning of your playthrough, you will possibly need to drop it and then pick it back up or buy another from the Handmaiden after she receives the Dreamchaser's Ashes to fix the glitched achievement.

I miss the DS1 prisoner chain, which let you run through deep water instead of slowly...wading...through...a poisonous basilisk nest.

If you have all the rings and still didnt get the achievement, try swapping the rings in & out of the storage box (accessed from bonfire)

Wolf Ring: Farm 30 covenant items in a poison swamp. Hope you liked blighttown.

Wolf Ring +1: From the bonfire, walk out the door and turn left.

Wolf Ring +2: Eh screw it, let's just put it in the starting area.

I have all the rings. The game refuses to give me the achievement. Why. Why? What did I do to deserve this?

As much as I hate the +3's in the Ringed City making the +2's useless, thank god we don't have to deal with other pvp'ers modding or using Honest Merchant to get NG+ gear. There's still some like Sages Ring and Life Ring, but I'm glad for Havel's and FaP rings available on NG (albeit a bit far in)

After countless hours I finally got this stupid achievement, that being said if you start as Pyro or Sorcerer keep in mind that for some reason game treats your starting ring as unobtained and you need to drop it and pick it up for it to register, thought I would write it and save someone from the absolute headache I had when I thought hours of progress went down the drain.

If you picked Sorcerer as your starting class and the achievement does not show up, drop Young Dragon Ring and then pick it up, same goes for Pyromancer and Great Swamp Ring, for some reason game does not register starting rings as owned. Hope it helps.

                        Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a solution that worked for me regarding the 'Master of Rings' achievement in Dark Souls 3. I was struggling with the achievement not unlocking even after collecting all 107 rings. What I did was unequip all four rings I was wearing, and then moved all the rings to my storage. As soon as I stored them all, the achievement popped up.

I hope this helps anyone who might be facing the same issue!

The developers should've included this challenge:
Finish the NG+ with Calamity Ring and Skull Ring equipped, without removing it, and with the Unkindled Ending.
The reward is, on NG++ every enemy dies (including bosses) in 1 hit. lol

If someone can add this random fact: you can’t get the life ring+3 in the flame less shrine in ng++

                            • Bro ... I thought you'd only need all the base versions for the achievement and ended up selling a few +1s because I already had a +3 version. I kept the originals in storage with the achievement, but sold the +1s (namely Chloranthy and Havel's), I'm pretty salty about it. I guess it makes sense that you need all + variants, but I was under the assumption that it was the same ring, just an upgraded version. Don't make the same mistake as me boys.

Any idea why no achievement? Got all 116 rings, i tried putting rings in the box and leaving everything on the ground, still no achievement, i bought life ring just in case, also i didnt start as sorcerer nor pyromancer

I've got all of the 107 rings, all the +1 and +2 versions excluding the dupes but no achievement popup. Did this happen to anybody else on the steam version?

thank you for posting this. This achievment is so hard to get and i didnt want to double my playtime just for some rings i was never gonna use. Thank you.

thank god fromsoft realized how much people hated the master of rings achievement in ds3 and changed it to only needing the rare rings in ER.

I think it was a real balance flaw how, unlike in Dark Souls II, upgraded versions of rings have no tradeoff over lower level versions, they're just strictly better (particularly with regard to the +3 rings found in The "Ringed" City). In DS2 an upgraded ring was more powerful, but had lower durability and higher equip weight so it wasn't always just an automatic trade-up.

Gotta love how Ringed City adds a bunch of +3 rings obtainable in regular NG that make the +2 rings in NG++ pointless

in hindsight, it seems they were really scared of making rings feel impactful.
besides a few outliers like the prisoners chain, they’re all kind of negligible.

Guys, do I need to have all rings on one character to get trophy? Because I have wolf's ring and ring of obscurity on other character

Unrelated to this but i just wanted to let you guys know i just ate a chicken sandwich and it was very good

                                                    • Anonymous

It seems like a weird design choice to make so many +3 rings accessible through the DLC areas even if you're still on NG. Once you've got the +3 version of a ring, there's no in-game benefit to picking up the +1 and +2 versions in NG+ cycles. They just become scavenger hunt items you have to collect if you want the trophy.

this achievement is glitched i think since i got all the rings except the wolf ring +3
                                                        can someone confirm this?

Strangely, I got Master of Rings without NG+. I had the DLC +3 rings, but not the base Wolf Ring. Lucky me, I guess.

If you're playing FromSoftware games just to get more Platinum trophies/All achievements, then you're doing it wrong. Those games are designed to be replayed several times (to get all the stuff, even though I guess most people seeking achievements used a guide to get everything first time.)

Just be thankful none of those rings require you to invade a thousand hosts...

Hello, I am the guy who said that the calamity ring is the best ring in the game (which is it is) I just wanted to let you guys know that i have found a ring that works perfectly with the calamity ring. It is called the skull ring! This bad boy helped me out a lot when surrounded by multiple enemies, it made all the enemies lose sight of me so I could backstab them (I dealt 1100 damage with it, and I didn't have the hornet ring on!). Such a strong ring! I recommend pairing this ring with the calamity ring for the best ring combination ever in dark souls history!

                                                                  • Anonymous

                                                                      • Anonymous

YOU DO NOT NEED THE +3 VERSIONS OF THE RINGS FROM THE DLC FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT! And don't forget the Ring of Sacrifice (you only need one).

                                                                        • Anonymous

As it happens, I began my first playthrough with the Young White Branch as my starting gift. I had it for all 3 playthroughs, so I never had any reason to kill the giant. Therefore, I never found the Hawk Ring! I could have sworn I had one, but of course I never killed the giant so I didn't. Oops!

                                                                                  • Anonymous

                                                                                    • Anonymous
